East Lancashire ’s Celebration of Cycling for Everyone

Covering every aspect of cycling including National Series races, a challenging Sportive ride, leisure rides and activities for people new to cycling.

Set in the beautiful Pendle area of East Lancashire, a great place for a cycling trip.

Highlights this summer included local Elite rider Ian Wilkinson (SIS-Trek) storming away for a brave and very popular win in front of several thousand spectators in the Colne Grand Prix and international star Rob Hayles conquering the weather and his fellow pros to win the Tour of Pendle in front of a national audience on Eurosport and Cycling.tv

The change in start/finish for the Pendle Pedal sportive ride to Rolls Royce Sports Ground in Barnoldswick and the addition of the Cycle Show there proved popular. The challenging but beautiful 160km ride through the Pendle, Ribble Valley, Lune Valley and Bowland countryside taking in all the major climbs in the area including the famed Nick O'Pendle once again being a bit hit with over 500 entrants.!
